News: power poses increase testosterone levels?
Don’t be a poser, boost your testosterone levels?
A widely publicized study published in the journal, Psychological Sciences, explored the impact of what they deemed, ‘power poses‘ or ‘low power poses‘ on salivary testosterone and cortisol levels. The study researchers included Amy J. C. Cuddy, an assistant professor of Harvard Business school as well as Dana Carney and Andy Yap–both from Columbia University.

Researchers in London conducted a study involving 58 patients with type 2 diabetes (25 males, 33 females) over a period 12 weeks. For inclusion in this study, the participants had to have a Hemoglobin A1C level of greater than 7%. Hemoglobin A1C is a marker of long-term glycemic control in those who have diabetes.
